Judith Lynn Jewell, 78, of Charleston, IL, passed away at 3:24 P.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Services will be scheduled for a later date. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Judith was born on March 3, 1946, the daughter of the late Russell and Mary Cash Bussart. She married Rodney C. Jewell on September 13, 1964, in Dudley, Illinois. He passed away on December 12, 2018.
Judith worked for many years at Trailmobile in Charleston, Illinois, and later at Simonton Windows in Paris before retiring. Judith and her husband Rodney were fond of the "get in and go" road trips, sometimes not knowing their destination until they arrived. She was naturally a hard worker, and that was evident by her always pristine yard. When Judith wasn't raking leaves or picking up sticks, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether that was a card game, Yahtzee, or enjoying a nice cold rum and coke, Judith was most happy surrounde
